The Cyan Dragon started as an experimental SuSE Linux box, along with acting as a backup server for the Indigo Dragon. The motherboard and CPU we acquired from Pluvius from a system he upgraded. The IBM drive use to be in the White Dragon a long time ago, set idle for a few years and then made it into this system. The case for this computer is one of the most miserable cases I've ever owned. The cheep punched metal frame bends under the slightest weight, warping the frame and making it very difficult to replace the sides. But, it was quite cheap—and you get what you pay for. The system does have a cool compact flash to IDE adapter drive. For my job, I've experimented with making bootable compact flash Linux loads, and this drive is useful for that.
